Schloss Bangalore Limited, founded in 2019, is a leading luxury hospitality company in India operating under “The Leela” brand. As of May 31, 2024, it manages 12 hotels with 3,382 keys, including five owned landmark properties in Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Jaipur, and Udaipur. These hotels combine traditional Indian architecture with modern luxury. Schloss offers 67 dining venues, 12 spas, and extensive event facilities. Promoted by Brookfield-managed private equity funds, Schloss is a key player in India’s luxury hospitality and premium MICE markets.
Leela Hotels is launching an IPO with a total size of ₹3,500 crore through a book-building process. This issue consists of a fresh issue of 5.75 crore shares worth ₹2,500 crore, along with an offer for sale of 2.30 crore shares valued at ₹1,000 crore. The IPO opens for subscription on May 26, 2025, and closes on May 28, 2025. The allotment is expected to be finalized by Thursday, May 29, 2025, with the shares tentatively set to list on the BSE and NSE on Monday, June 2, 2025.
The price band for the Leela Hotels IPO is fixed between ₹413 and ₹435 per share. Investors can apply in a minimum lot size of 34 shares, requiring a minimum investment of ₹14,042. However, it is recommended that investors bid at the cutoff price of ₹435 per share to avoid issues related to oversubscription, which would require an investment of approximately ₹14,790. For non-institutional investors (NII), the minimum lot size is 14 lots (476 shares), amounting to ₹2,07,060, while for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), it is 68 lots (2,312 shares), with an investment value of ₹10,05,720.
The book running lead managers (BRLMs) for the Leela Hotels IPO include JM Financial Limited, BofA Securities India Limited, Morgan Stanley India Company Pvt Ltd, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, IIFL Securities Ltd, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited. Kfin Technologies Limited is appointed as the registrar for the issue.
