Friday, December 05, 2025: The shares of Zen Technologies were in focus on Friday as the stock surged by 1.68% and reached ₹1397.80 at around 02:00 PM. The mini rally in the stock came after the company announced that it had secured a new contract worth 120 crore (inclusive of GST) from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The contract relates to the supply of a comprehensive training solution (Comprehensive Training Node). The stock had an intraday high of ₹1425, within the first hour of trade, after which it consolidated a bit.

Details of the Contract

As per the stock exchange filings, the company stated that the contract, awarded by the Ministry of Defence involves the supply of a package of simulators and associated equipment. It is a suite which will be used in different phases of defence training in India. The CTN will be delivered as an integrated system, and the filings did not divulge any further information about the number of simulators or types of equipment.

The project will have a duration of one year, which gives critical revenue visibility to the company for the next couple of quarters. The contract does not involve any related parties and is a completely domestic contract.

Share Price Movement

As mentioned, the share price was ₹1397.80 at 02:00 PM, which was 1.68% higher than the previously closing price. The stock had reached to a high of ₹1420 during the day. The share price of Zen Technologies, after today’s surge, has still managed to slump by almost 36.26% in the past six months.

The project gives a strategic edge to the company in the field of defence training, which has already gained critical importance in the overall defence setup of the country. The company has steadily built a strong portfolio of defence equipment that includes simulators and anti-drone systems.
